History
The Hillsboro Downtown Business Association (HDBA) was formed in 1981 by the City of Hillsboro to address issues affecting the vitality of Downtown Hillsboro. The organization is separate from the City of Hillsboro and the Hillsboro Chamber of Commerce.
Downtown Hillsboro was platted as the Washington County seat in 1876. It soon became a bustling city that was recognized as a crossroads of business and commerce.
